The source headers, LICENSE files, and license metadata had drifted
apart. Align the entire project to MIT:
- Convert every source-file header to the MIT text across all comment
styles (Go, TS, TSX, JS, MJS, SQL, CSS, GraphQL, shell), including
SPDX-License-Identifier tags
- Set the root and cookie-banner LICENSE files to the MIT text with a
"MIT License" title line
- Switch the package.json license fields, Docker image label, and
cookie-banner README to MIT
- Update docs and the genmodels header generator accordingly
- Normalize copyright lines to a single format
(Copyright (c) <year(s)> Probo Inc <hello@probo.com>.): unify the
hello@getprobo.com and hello@probo.inc emails to hello@probo.com and
the comma-separated years to a hyphenated range
Genuine third-party references are intentionally left untouched: the
Lucide icon attributions (Lucide is ISC) and the trivy dependency
license allowlist.

Add policy_document_id and policy_generation_requested_at columns to
cookie_banners and backfill banners that already have a published
version, so existing live banners get a policy on the worker's first
pass.
Flag the banner for policy generation inside the publish transaction so
generation is requested only when a cookie banner version is published,
not on draft edits. Fold policy_document_id into the existing Update so
the upcoming worker can persist the generated document id with the
scope it already holds.

Change AuthorizationAttributer.AuthorizationAttributes to take a slice
of resource ids and return policy.AttributesByID, so a single SQL
round-trip can load condition attributes for a whole batch. All
coredata implementations are migrated to a single
`WHERE id = ANY(@resource_ids::text[])` query that returns only the
rows it finds.
Authorizer gains:
- AuthorizeBatch — all-or-nothing across a homogeneous (same entity
type, same organization) resource set; rejects mixed entity types,
mixed organizations, and empty batches with structured errors.
- AuthorizeMulti — heterogeneous evaluation that returns one error
per item and writes audit log entries in a single bulk insert.
The single-resource Authorize is rewired to delegate to AuthorizeBatch
so all paths share the same condition evaluation and audit logging.
recordAuditLog is split into buildAuditLogEntry plus a batch insert.
Tests cover the new batch and multi paths, mixed/empty/unsupported
resource cases, audit log batching, and dry-run behaviour.

The consent mode is now determined dynamically by the visitor's
country and its applicable regulation. The configured consent_mode
column is dropped from cookie_banners and added to
cookie_consent_records to persist the geo-derived mode at
consent-recording time. When no regulation matches, the default
is OPT_OUT.

Replace the ad-hoc patternAnalysisTask struct with coredata.CookieBanner
as the worker type parameter, matching the pattern used by other workers
(esign, accessreview). SQL methods move back to coredata on *CookieBanner.

Set pattern_analysis_requested_at on all existing banners so the worker
runs once per banner on release and merges any existing prefix groups.

Background worker polls cookie_banners with pattern_analysis_requested_at
set, groups EXACT patterns sharing a common prefix, and merges groups of
3+ into a PREFIX pattern. Detection sets the flag when new EXACT patterns
are created. The worker relinks cookies, removes orphaned patterns, and
updates the draft version via ensureDraftVersionForBanner.

Batch-load CookieBanner and CookieCategory entities via
dataloadgen instead of making individual service calls in
GraphQL resolvers, matching the existing dataloader pattern
used for organizations, frameworks, etc.

Introduce a required cookie_policy_url alongside the existing
privacy_policy_url (now optional) so banners can link directly to a
dedicated cookie policy — a compliance best practice recommended by
CNIL, ICO, and the EDPB. Existing rows are seeded from their current
privacy_policy_url value.
Both {{cookie_policy_link}} and {{privacy_policy_link}} placeholders
are supported independently in banner description translations.

Origin is a fundamental identity property of a banner tied to consent
records for a specific site. Changing it would break the audit trail
and violate GDPR consent specificity requirements.

Add cookie_banner_translations table to store per-language
translations as JSONB, and a default_language column on
cookie_banners. Extend the version snapshot types to carry
translated UI strings and category content per language.

- Add scope parameter to UpdateShowBranding to prevent cross-tenant updates
- Use cmd.Context() instead of context.Background() in proboctl CLI
- Drop SQL column default after backfill in migration
- Add bounds check for int-to-int32 conversion in PG_POOL_SIZE
- Update branding link to getprobo.com homepage

Internal-only flag (defaults to true) that controls whether
"Powered by Probo" branding appears on the cookie banner.
Read directly from the live row (not the version snapshot)
since branding is cosmetic, not consent-relevant.

Move clientIP extraction into a reusable pkg/server/api/clientip
package with RFC 7239 Forwarded header support. Add
pkg/server/jsonutil with helpers for common HTTP error responses
(RenderForbidden, RenderInternalServerError, RenderNotFound,
RenderBadRequest) and use them in the cookie banner handlers.

Introduce /cookie-banner/v1/{bannerID}/config endpoint for the JS SDK.
The custom CORS middleware validates each request origin against the
specific banner being requested, preventing cross-customer leakage.

Introduce append-only cookie_banner_versions table with a JSONB
snapshot of consent-relevant configuration (privacy policy URL,
consent mode, expiry, categories and their cookies). Each version
has its own state (DRAFT/PUBLISHED) separate from the banner
lifecycle.
Replace the banner state enum (DRAFT/PUBLISHED/DISABLED) with a
simpler ACTIVE/INACTIVE toggle. Link consent records to the
specific published version the visitor accepted.
